About Beads and Quilts

The family trio of Kathy (the mom), Greg (the son), and Sue (the daughter-in-law) started making beaded jewelry in 2007. Greg recalls the three competing to create the most original and creative piece.

“It was just a family hobby at first. We would buy unique, interesting beads we found at local shops and create beautiful pieces,” he said.

Soon after, Kathy started peddling the jewelry anywhere she could. Her co-workers would devour anything she would present. Local shops displayed our creations on consignment.

“The same would happen with any crafts and gifts mom would make. She’s an absolute machine when it comes to creating things that people love,” said Greg. “We continue to produce custom bead jewelry in the same fashion, but now have taken the business to the next level with BeadsAndQuilts.com.”
